Subdivision Regulations
The
Thetford Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment
consist of seven members who serve in both these areas. The
Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month and
the Zoning Board on the fourth Tuesday.
Currently, planning
activities are concentrated on the completion of the revision
and publication of a new Town Plan which must be renewed every
five years.
The Zoning Board
is primarily devoted to the review and approval of Zoning Permit
applications. The Board is also reviewing the bylaws of the
Zoning Ordinances and Subdivision Regulations for publication.
A number of changes in zoning have been issued by the State
of Vermont and will require incorporation into the Town
of Thetford Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision Regulations
for the Town of Thetford, VT.
Zoning office hours
are Tuesdays, 8:00 am to noon, and Thursdays, 1:00 pm to 5:00
pm. Your call or personal inquiries are invited.
All
Completed applications must be returned to the Thetford Town
office
in person or by mail. Applications cannot be returned by email.
